While private collections prioritize privacy, public collections emphasize sharing.  When I went to post some of my own personal collection “PC,” I realized these pieces of history would no longer be confined to a safe, shelf, or wall; much like an automobile in a museum or a piece of art in a gallery.  While the modern hobby term PC describes cards that a collector specifically intends to keep for themselves, these are really just collectibles I've discovered, bought, traded-for and am unwilling to sell.  But because these items have sentimental value, I don’t feel as though they should be locked away, but rather, they should also be able to be appreciated from afar.
