Al Unser Jr., popularly known as "Little Al," is a retired American racing legend and a central figure in one of motorsports' most iconic dynasties. He is a two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, securing victories in 1992 and 1994. His 1992 win is famous for being the closest finish in Indy 500 history at the time, beating Scott Goodyear by just 0.043 seconds.He won two CART PPG Cup titles in 1990 and 1994. The "King of the Beach," Unser Jr. earned this nickname for his dominance at the Long Beach Grand Prix, where he won a record six times. Beyond open-wheel racing, he won the 24 Hours of Daytona twice (1986, 1987) and two International Race of Champions (IROC) titles (1986, 1988).
