Getting married in July of 2025 was a treat, but I also wanted to say thank you to the groomsmen that took time out of their schedules to make the weekend so great. So, I reached out to the fellas over at RC Custom Cards, and we designed some nifty trading cards over that summer. The cards turned out MUCH BETTER than the scanner could pick up: the cracked ice / colorblasts are actually stunning in person! I asked the wedding party members what their “lucky” number was, or the athletic numbers that they sported back in the glory days. From there, each card was designed from colorblasts to retro designs – each is completely unique. Well, in style at least. Each card was printed twice, a 1-of-2 and a 2-of-2 exists, as I kept a copy of each, and then I presented each friend a card at the rehearsal dinner in a room full of laughs (see photos at the end). Each rookie card scored a GEM MINT grade and features a full-bleed "action" photo on the front and a detailed write-up on the back. My white, colorblast, however, is a true 1-of-1 and that’s the way it should be for the groom!
